My youngest daughter reminded me it was April Fool's Day this a.m. She's been sick for nearly a week and this a.m. the proclaimed, "Mom! I feel all better!" I said, "You do?! WONDERFUL!" Then she said, "April Fools!" and she laid back down & fell asleep. LOL

That is cute!
I told my kids, "it's snowing!" It was mixed rain & snow.
I also said that a news cast in the morning stated because SAT scores were so low, they are extending the school year into July & that there would be only 1 month summer holiday instead of 2!"
They initially didn't believe me but when they opened the door & saw it was snowing, they started to get worried!!
Gettting back the kids for getting me last year!

I picked them up from school & my wife was with me & she was with the kids so she was in on it too.
We were driving home & my oldest (acting the part) was upset & said "the school gave us all a letter saying that every second Saturday kids will have to attend school & that they wanted parental input by such & such a day!"
I said, "show me the letter?"
Remember, I had forgotten it was April Fools day.
She said in a mad frustrated voice, "I was so angry & other kids were too, that we tore it up & threw it in the garbage!"
I got a little perturbed with her & told her, "how am I supposed to know what the info is & who & how to get back with input?"
She followed a bit more with a sob & angry story.
I told her that I was a little frustrated that she would tear up an important correspondence from the school & that we would talk about it when we got home & that I was not happy.
Then she & all the kids yelled out, "April Fools!"
Rotten kids!
