If I DID have a large quantity of cash for some reason, my SUITCASE is where it would be, rather than on my person. Isn't that what he did? Stuck it in his suitcase? LOL!!!!!
I do agree that it would have been wiser to wire the money, and not risk losing it in his luggage, among other reasons, but I don't agree that carry money while traveling is in itself a cause for suspicion.

Don't ever do this if you are going to go to India, they go through your bags.
We always carry cash on our person-hid of course but never in our suit cases.

And they'll detain you for carrying cash?

Well, I guess I was thinking of the $22,000.00 Sherri mentioned when I said "large quantity." I guess if you had large enough bills, it wouldn't take up too much space in the hem of your skirt.

India will not detain you for carrying cash, but they are not very organized and could have Lord only knows how many 'employees' go through your luggage.
Keith has a special apparatus that he wears that conceals important papers from view it has worked so far, although we haven't carried 22k in it either-

They have Xray type machines now that view you through your clothing. When you stand in front of it they basically see you naked. So anything underneath your clothing would be seen.
Of course, you did not see where the special apparatus was located.

Lord you make it sound like a medical device, it's actually a wallet ok, but it's around his neck, so there is no speculation.
And how many airports do you know who use these very costly x-ray machines?

More and more as time goes on.
They put the first one out in the early part of 2007.
