Down here we have men, women and children homeless. Next time anyone has the flu (your common non-media hype flu) think about the women and children who are sick and living on the streets. It is especially bad for mothers with children, because they are afraid of shelters. They are afraid of shelters trying to take their children, also the dangers in shelters. How we can be taken care of by church family and our own family. Where chicken soup is only three feet away from us, and how we have clean bathrooms were we can get washed and bathed.

Next time anyone is in a major city, go down to the main bus terminal, the bathrooms are from the pits of hell, and smell worse. Imagine having a full blown flu and having to use a place like that.

Lord Jesus give us what we need to help these people.

Yes sir, and we need to keep in prayer all those who are struggling to make ends meet. Banks are the only ones who are making out at this time. While the stupidity mounts on the dreaded Pig Flu, people are losing jobs, houses, transportation, families, and patience.

Obama came in doing what every lying politician does, tell us that "he" is going to change things. Well, he is not.

Let's keep in heavy prayer and fasting for the year ahead, and further revival in our churches, and that we might be able to save some.

Yeah, they will use the media to convince us to just give it away.

Subtle manipulation through the media with fear tactics so we will gladly give it over to them. What you don't know, can't hurt them.

Let's all make a great difference before the end of the year. Let's make sure everyone in our city knows us and what we stand for, and that we would love to be available for them. Let the people of your city know that you want to be their friend, not just wanting them to come to Church, but you would like to be their friend first.
Friends love to do things for their friends. If you make them your friends first, they will be more apt to come and be a part of what you are involved in.

Would to God that everyone in the Church of the living God would feel yjay urgency!
We not only need to be doing outreach & being a friend is a start, but as 2009 draws to a close (and it will come quicker than we think) we need to have fruit to show for our labour!

We are entertaining ourselves to death, we are in a constant push to find distractions. The Wart Hog Virus, and the Pygmy Flu are piped through our media and pumped into our ever waiting vessels. We are like naive children believing whatever is told us, and without question. If we doubt what the newspapers, television, or radio tells us, well, then we are just conspiracy weirdos, or looking under every rock or bush for a wire tap from the CIA.

Bertrand Russell advocated a slave class, but not slaves who were unhappy, but slaves who were happy to be slaves. they wouldn't be manacled with fetters, or beaten with whips. These slaves would most willingly serve their masters, and do it happily.

To control any people one must make them want to be controlled, by convincing them it is in their best interest to be controlled. Wether it is from an enemy without, or an enemy within. Fear is the best persuader, and we teach fear early, "don't cross the street without looking both ways," "don't talk to strangers," "don't drink from someone else’s glass."

We are conditioned wether rightly for our own benefit, or wrongly to control or behavior to be used for some future time. A nation of Manchurian Candidates, waiting for the right time for a certain situation to happen, where a knee jerk response will come automatically. Buzz words used by manufactures already hold our attention, and that is because the corporations have learned to work through our base desires to make us respond to them. We become willing slaves, to agree when they want us to agree, or disagree when they need us to disagree. Obedient plebeians to carry out the will of the empire.

Like crabs in a bucket, we police ourselves. No need for the secret service to be spying on us to make sure we toe the line. No, we will be like the crabs in a bucket, which, when one crab tries to climb out, the rest of the lives crabs pull the one back in. The man who netted the crabs never has to police the crabs or knock them back in himself. The crabs unwittingly drag their comrades back into the bucket themselves. They would all like to get free, but they try to climb out by pulling the others back down.

Swine Flu boogie men hiding underneath the bed? We call mommy and daddy to come and tell us everything is all right. Yet, the media mommy is not telling us, not to worry, but just the opposite. This mother tells us that the situation is just bad enough to reach out and get us. Yet, if we are good and listen to mommy's instructions, we may just make it.

We weren't given a Spirit of fear, but of peace and a sound mind.
