Aside from that - is anyone else bothered by his invitation to these to men to the White House "for a beer". Mind you - I realize that drinking goes on in the White House, probably always has and always will - but doesn't it just seem totally crass and without class for the POTUS to invite someone over "for a beer". It just cheapened him in my eyes. But that is JMHO. Couldn't he have extended the invitation in a manner that was befitting the office of POTUS ?????

I think he did that because when he called the officer he was in a pub. He wanted to seem "just like one of the guys" - he's not.

That's putting it mildly. Of course he isn't, he's the President.
