Re: --Pentecostalism Defined--

You're a funny one there Irregardless. Here is Bro. Anglin's initial post and question:

"What, in your mind, is Pentecostalism?
What are some key identifiers that someone is truly Pentecostal?"

Alright, now I'll respond to your cute response:

The question was "what, in your mind, is Pentecostalism?". I think we all understand that to be a question concerning modern pentecostalism.

Okay, I'll give you that one. You're right.

It's probably not a good name either.

I do know what you mean though. I feel the same way.

[Posting in love] I'm not an English expert, but Merriam Webster lists irregardless as a word. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/irregardless [/Posting in love]

Irregardless is a double negative (the prefix (ir-) and suffix (-less)) and should not be used unless you want to really show how...never mind.

Webster is a commmie liberal.

Oh, I just used the word "irregardless" 42 times in a post to illustrate that it's not a word. One of the great crimes of the English language...or the stewards of our language....is that words like "ain't" and "irregardless" are not in the dictionary. They have become such a part of language culture that they've made their way into social acceptance, even though they're not words!!!

I made a bunch of fun of the word "irregardless" before I read your post. You beat me to it!

Yes. This would be similar to someone saying "I could care less", which literally means, "I care quite a bit and could care less." So boys and girls, the next time someone says something and you'd like to make a point of not caring, please say, "I COULDN'T care less."

You are dismissed.

So can I just irregardlessly say....WILL PEOPLE STOP USING THE WORD "IRREGARDLESS!!!"
