4 weeks ago I made a post that I had voted for two contestants. These two were my predictions for making it to the final two.

At the time I didn't reveal which two, but I am now ready to share who my favorites have been all this time...

Jordin Sparks


Blake Lewis


While I still believe Melinda Doolittle is totally in the running, I think it will still boil down to Jordin and Blake. Now don't get me wrong...I think Melinda can probably outsing ANY of the contestants...but I think she's lacking in personality and marketability, which I think may hinder her progress. Although last night I think she found some 'spark'.

I think LaKisha is headed in the same direction. She's a fabulous singer...but lacking even farther behind Melinda in personality and marketability. Forgive me for this, but every time I hear those two ladies sing all I can think of is James Bond movies.

So....

Who is going to be eliminated tonight???

What is your prediction?

Mine will be Phil Stacey (he's almost always been in the bottom three) or LaKisha Jones.

LaKisha (our home town girl) has not done too well and so I would not be surprised. However, even if she doesn't make Idol, she has a great gospel career ahead of her...contract and stuff...same with Melinda.

Melinda just needs to leave and sign up with a label now and give someone else a chance - lol! She's awesome!

LaKisha didn't do very well last night at all - just the wrong song for sure.

Yeah, well it's not been her style of music and it was the wrong song for sure.

Doolittle is great though...gotta give shy girl that.
