How about unisex clothing... pants on women, dresses on men ? I will agree with Bro. Stoneking that churches that start these things do NOT become more spiritual.
I'm Ind. but I NEVER thought Larry Smith would allow these things.

These ideas, I think, are traditional and not biblical. LS agrees. Way back when, clothes for men CHANGED in culture and men started wearing Robes. Women continued wearing robe-like dresses, and still do today. But we see a change that has happened decades ago where women wear pants now. It is no different a change than men starting to wear pants way back. I am not condoning immodesty, though. There are modest pants as much as there are immodest dresses. The bible does not teach women cannot wear pants. If anyone is against women wearing pants, then they better also be against men wearing pants since that is simply a change of custom in culture, and if one is accepted the other should be as well. That is not saying we accept cultural changes in custom that are antibiblical. But it is saying men changing from robes to pants is no different than modern day women changing from dresses to pants.
I disagree with Bro Stoneking on many issues. He said he felt a "presence" from a rabbi who has a public website saying that Jesus is a false messiah. There was a "presence" alright, but not of God.
Anyway, this thread is not about traditional "standards". That can be dealt with in another thread.

Did he SAY that it was a good spiritual prescence?
We do well to remember that NO MAN has it all correct.
NONE, not one.

Hmmmm...tears of joy, tears of pain (arm twist? )
or tears of sadness? Probably couldn't tell, eh? I guess
I'd have to have seen it., and/or been there.

According to the words he used to say about the rabbi, they were tears from sensing a "presence" from the rabbi.:... "It was a most moving experience for me to meet him! I could not hold back the tears... He has such an outstanding 'presence' about him...". ( http://www.leestoneking.com/Memories_of_israel.htm)
I respect Bro Stoneking. But I strongly disagree with his feelings that God is anointing this rabbi.
