Having said that, I feel I must point out that you have a "formed" opinion of the information given, i.e., "just because he acted as one one time in his life." That is the point that I was trying to get across - opinions would be formed by a one-sided story.
Now, again, I will agree with your assessment of my actions, but I did apologize to Sis. Alvear for that and that's all I have to say on this subject. |

I think DB is one of the most intelligent men in Pentecost...it was as I said a little incident that hurt me and left a impression on me however I KNOW we all make mistakes and I just felt like he should have called us or talked to us personally without sending us the letter he did...but like I said many years ago independent people were in a different light than today...although I have always had and have many precious UPC friends and all know I have always defended the UPC when people have spoken evil about them...

I not only went to JCM with her but I drove her to the Emergency Room when she almost cut her thumb off working in the cafeteria!
Whatever happened to her? Did she marry a preacher?

I wanted to watch while they sewed her up. She literally had meat hanging out of her thumb that looked like raw hamburger meat. I was intently watching the Dr. and nurse and didn't realize I was about to pass out.
The nurse looked up at me and said "Do you think maybe you ought to sit down?". At that point I realized I was very lightheaded and was probably pretty pale. I looked away and sat down and was fine.
