3/4 cup sugar
1 T flour
1 T cocoa
dash of salt
Sift together
Add one cup evaporated milk. Cook over medium heat until thickened, then add two tablespoons of butter.
Serve over hot biscuits!

Hi Renda, Hi all,
The last time K & L was there I was there also having dinner with you, sherri,Ted, CC1. Sure wished I was there too! Was that last year or 2007?
Renda, you and I went to the convocation - that was a blast.
I've been out of the loop...just catching up here on AFF ( it's been ages).

About the biscuts and chocolate Gravy, I think it is definitely a southern thing.
I was in LIttle Rock a few months back and the pastor's wife couldn't wait to make me "chocolate gravy and biscuts". I'd never had them before
they were actually VERY GOOD!

I have lived in the south all my life. LA, AL, and TX and have never had chocolate gravy!
I love chocolate and I love gravy, but never had chocolate gravy.
I may have to try Renda's recipe someday just so I will know what it is like.
