if anyone would like to hear what he has to say on what unfolded go to calvarytabindy.org. click media archives and the oct 4 pm message. you can view what he has to say on it. i believe he bared his soul about his decision, but i believed him before, so that would be no surprise for those who know me. sorry i dont know how to post a link or i would.

He stated that the Lord "checked" him, and he withdrew his name. Several expressed doubt of that account, as well as questioned his motives and integrity.

In the video referenced on this thread, he explains to the church in Indianapolis why he withdrew.

I never doubted PM at all - nor anyone else in the process. They're all great men and good people really do a lot of soul searching and introspection when facing these kinds of things. That's what makes them "good people!"

I agree Pel. It is especially important when that man has to do what he feels, either as God dealing with him or with his conscience impells him. Each of us must deal with God on a personal level and my opinion oh Mooney is higher because of his personal intergrity.

There's something rumbling in Indy. Wise move for him. Don't know if I buy the Spirit checked him during the vote. It's possible the spirit checked him before the conference, and was confirmed during the vote.
