This is off topic... but I find that the majority of preachers make great salesmen. Does anybody find that to be so?
I find that to be so in most cases... I also find it a little disturbing.

I totally agree, but I'm not bothered by it. I think it goes with the territory....the job description. Every time I step in the pulpit (well, I don't use one, actually) I'm speaking in order to develop buy-in...convince....persuade. It's the same thing a salesman does.
It's easy for some ministers to take those developed skills into the market place and sell things.
Which really, makes me all the more aggravated at ministers who do MLMing. I think they're taking advantage of people in the congregation.
When a translation of the bible is released that includes the epistle I've written, it will be in the bible that all ministers are forbidden to do MLMing!
