Awesome service today - my sister was baptized!!

In our 11am service today we recognized new members (about 10) and also gave those who have not been baptized an opportunity to do so. My sister was one of those. My brother, Bill, who some here know moved back with my sister and started bringing her to church. She attended the new member class and desired to get baptized. She repented many years ago when I was traveling with an ABI Quartet. (eons ago!) Anyway, she went back behind the platform to get baptized. Someone had turned the light off, she tripped, fell down and banged her leg up badly! We have a couple EMS guys so they tended to her injury and helped her up. We had a couple get baptized and I thought that was going to be it, when I found out that my sister, Julie still wanted to go through with it! She was really in a lot of pain and had a huge knot on her shin. We got her up the stairs, in great pain, to the baptistry and sat her on a chair and baptized her! What a miracle! My brother, Bill was amazed and believes that is one of the reasons God had him move back here. So both my brother and sister are attending church and I've seen both of them baptized! God is still a miracle working God!!

One of the young men baptized was a victim when my middle son was in trouble with law a number of years ago. Just to have him attend is miraculous let alone see him and his fiance baptized! They have also asked me to perform their wedding ceremony next year! I am truly amazed and in awe of Him! Thank you Jesus!

Praise God for all his many blessings. A boy my son graduated from high school with was baptized with the Spirit and in Jesus name this weekend.

Wonderful news! We had a women receive the Holy Ghost Tuesday night during service!
