My sister has been singing that song for Midnight Mass at the Catholic Church since she was in High School. She's a Baptist now and they still call her to sing Ave Maria at Midnight Mass. Guess they can't find a good ol' Catholic that can sing it! LOL!

The music to Ave Maria is simply lovely...though I know what the lyrics mean, I've always loved the song because of the music.

Yes, it really is beautiful! I have a Celine Deon CD with her singing that song. I usually skip over it. LOL!

She is quite the Prima donna! LOL! She does sing very well and received a full scholarship for her voice. She's the only one of us 7 girls that really likes to sing. I think after being dragged around to talent shows, etc., none of us cared much for singing after that, except for her. LOL!
