Re: 2009 Review of Homegoing Saints
I don't know these people but these are emails I received today.
Subject: Passing of Pastor Emeritus Dallas C. Cook
Please remember Sister Mabel Cook and family in prayer. Brother Dallas C. Cook, Pastor Emeritus of Fork Mountain Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord this morning.
Brother Cook was Uncle to our Southern Regional Representative and First Assistant General Superintendent Mark McCool, and brother to Sister Betty McCool, faithful companion to our Tri-State District Superintendent Bishop McCool.
We will pass along the viewing and funeral arrangements when we receive them.
Bro. Gray

I received the following information:
On Friday evening, December 25th at about 6:00 PM, a true treasure was called home. Reverend Fred K. Hyde, a Home Missionary Pastor, a Foreign Missionary Evangelist, Founder and Director of The Spirit of Freedom Ministries (Bro. Hyde retired in 2006).
Brother Hyde was an entertainer on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, when in 1958 he in his own words ‘stumbled into a little church off of Canal Street.’ He received the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus name, and almost immediately began preaching. In 1960 he and Sister Hyde, who received the Holy Ghost a few months later, pioneered the First Pentecostal Church, Slidell, LA. In 1970 Brother and Sister Hyde became Foreign Missionaries and spent the next 8 years traveling the world as Missionary evangelist.
At the General Conference in 1978 Brother Hyde and Brother Cupit formed what would become the greatest outreach tool to the chemically dependent, “The Spirit Of Freedom Ministries”
Please be in prayer for the Hyde family during this difficult time.
