Just curious, I personally know a lady preacher who gets up & spits & sputters, hollering & screaming while her husband sits out there tending to their little girl [talk about role reversals!?]. She says it's the "anointing," but, sorry, God does not "anoint" women to act like men.
I personally have only seen her testify, & it made me nauseated [as well as others], as I will not sit in a room where a woman gets up to "teach/preach" to men. But, let's just say I know this woman verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry well, since I used to pastor her.
What are your thoughts about women who acts like this? Do you not think this is improper behaviour? I have my own responses from a biblical perspective, but this thought just occurred to me.
Have to respond later, gotta' rum for now.

If I may interrupt your conversation one more time, I have a question about romping and stomping and spitting or whatever. Nor do I mean to change the subject either.
But do you believe it is anointed for a man to do the same thing? I know some do, and I may be wrong, but those men I have seen do what you seem to be describing this woman does, do not seem to be anointed when doing so IMO. But is mostly show in the first place. I am not talking about someone getting excited sometimes. But I knew this preacher that preached his entire sermon that way. In other words, sometimes I think they are copying what others do, instead of it having to do with any anointing at all, no matter who does it. At least like this preacher I knew would do. And not that he was not a wonderful person either. As he was. I just didn't care much for his preaching was all.

Would like to stay on topic as much as possible, but will briefly respond. I agree that many men seem to mimic others whom the Spirit may have prompted to preach under such an anointing. But, It's as plain as day when they're doing this. I know an evangelist who starts this when he takes his text??? Sorry, but I can't stand this kind of showmanship. It's a learned behaviour pattern.
But the Bible explicitly states that women are to have a "quiet and meek spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price." Personally, I run from loud people [men or women].
