Me.
All kidding aside ... I'm praying the Libertarians could find themselves a charismatic figure ... since that's as much as part of the 21st century propaganda machinery.

Who knows but it's time we had a viable 3rd party option.

Do you think the "Tea Party Movement" could be a viable vehicle for such a third party?

Well, I definitely must come off my break to comment here.
We do not need a third party. The planks of the Republican Party are just fine. We need our elected officials to return to those planks - hence - the tea partiers are pushing this agenda.
Now, let's not overlook a major player in the future. He has been my man all along - Mike Pence. Has a wonderful record! Found out this exciting news this morning:
Quote:
Run, Mike Pence, run!
I want this to happen, don’t you?
Don’t worry about the support of the NRSC or Beltway Republicans. The money will come, Rep. Pence — from grass-roots conservatives across the country who have appreciated your stalwart, unwavering, unapologetic, explicit, and proven commitment to the Constitution and conservative principles.
In the wake of winning MA, GOPers are looking to put 1 more state in play if they can convince House GOP Conference chair Mike Pence to run against Sen. Evan Bayh (R-IN).
Pence and his aides will meet with top staffers at the NRSC tomorrow, several sources tell Hotline OnCall, where they will discuss a possible bid. The NRSC has polled IN, and their survey shows Pence in a competitive position, though he trails Bayh in initial matchups.

Mike Pence is a good man.... he met my former church at White House for tour. He's the Rep in the district where my family is from.
I agree with you that we do not need a third party... get back to the basics.
btw, Dan mentioned former D Quayle and his family values... I worked for his campaign and he wouldn't travel anywhere without one of his children because he didn't want anyone to ever say he was in inappropriate situations as a married man... he never gave the opportunity for evil to be spoken against him. He was true blue conservative too...and I considered it a honor to know him and his wife personally. I always hated to see him being shred to pieces by media, because he was a good person.
