When Dems question and belittle the experience of a politician with limited experience as a state legislator and with much less experience as a federal legislator if he makes a run in 2012.

Where will the "community organizer" cat calls be?

More hypocritical ... are the Christian right activists here that are willing to abandon their moral holy grails ... and support a candidate that supports legalized abortion and admittedly holds the same views on anti-gay marriage and pro civil-unions as Obama.

Looks like a pact "with the devil" is in the making ... as party zeal blinds the lockstep hate-talk show sycophants who have sought to spiritualize politics on this forum.

Surely some will compromise principle in the their hatred ....

C'mon Dan. Nobody's "hatin.'" You're just down after you candidate lost and you feel miserable watching others do that silly little dance people do when their guy wins. By the weekend it won't even register.

For me, it's Brown's openness on the social issues that make me feel a bit more comfortable with his style of politics than with many others.

The fact that anyone is even silly enough to to say "Brown in 2012" speaks more to the dearth of good Republican candidates than it says anything about Brown himself. And, our good Mormon friend Mitt was there as emcee for the Brown victory party so I think we know where Brown himself stands on 2012.

I agree this Brown for President euphoria and temporary insanity is a case of slim pickings ...

As to aligning with Mitt ... speaks to me of a chameleon candidate who might be willing to change colors at a whim for political gain and expediency, imo.

He seems to be rather similar to Romney in many ways. They look like they could be blood brothers.

Romney has moved around a bit on the "social" issues over the years. But some of those things are difficult issues and most people will shift a bit over the course of their lives.

I just want to see the American government stop selling my grandchildren to the Chinese and Arabs. Those guys overseas are sitting on a mountain of American funny money that we foisted upon them to finance our "Great Society" and other social programs that ended up backfiring on us domestically. What happens when our kids have to pay the piper?
