BTW if you all want to make it an offical debate and not an argument, we can provide the forum with a format and rules in place for both sides to make their point and leave the conclusions to the viewers
The difference here is I had never posted.

Bro. Badejo did post and has severely misrepresented the discussion that was had on AMF.

It is an opportunity for you to stand up and set it straight. This issue has never thoroughly been discussed. What say you?

Maybe.

However, to do so at this time is to be goaded into a debate that is already high in emotion. I don't believe rational discussion can be had when emotion is this much involved.

I never post on AFF, but I may come back after things have settled down and ressurect this topic so that we can discuss it without the emotion of this situation.

I love honest debate. I believe it helps us grow in our understanding of where we stand, as well as open our minds to new points of view. It also helps us learn how to articulate what we believe and defend it against oppositional views.

Actually the thing to do would be to start a brand new thread. (Don't post it here.)

Re: Banned from AMF, AGAIN!

Goading is a bit of a strong term. If (as is taught by some) tithing is essential to salvation do you or your fellows not feel a duty to stop, look, listen, and outline the basis for those who are curious?

Are you hiding your lamps under bushels when you lock your comments and teachings behind a closed forum?

Still, the offer is on the board. If any of you guys believe you can support tithing and that Jason is wrong we will host the debate.

It will be 1 on 1, no interruptions.

It will have a word limit, thus ensuring that if someone goes off on a tangent or resorts to insults the use up their "time"

Each side will get a chance to state their case.

It won't be an on going back and forth argument. It will have a beginning and an ending..

And since this is an open forum no excuses that the person was answered but he just couldn't see or respond to the answer because he was banned

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Intriguing. I've never heard of that feature on a board before. Thou almost persuadest me.
