I am new to the forum and this may have already been addressed before and i missed it.I have been attending Pentecostal churches most of my life and have heard pastors preach against Tv.But without scripture to back it up.

Could someone please give me scripture for this teaching.

You know the truth is that there is not any such verse to not watch tv. But you got to be honest with yourself and God and not watch things that would hurt the spirit. Some people say that "set no evil thing before thine eyes" as the only verse to support such nonsense.

I have yet to find scripture against it myself.But i would like to know where this came from, other than tradition.

If someone says i am sinning for doing something.I expect biblical scripture to back it up.
