No, I have not, nor will I be contributing money towards the earthquake in Haiti. As an American taxpayer and a military spouse I have already contributed. Outside of that I will pray for them; because this is a very sad and unfortunate situation their country.

I emailed our PIM Missionary R. Brian in Haiti and asked about the above email and video I had received. I received the following:

I had not heard about the 'days of fasting' from President Preval before this e-mail; however, I can certainly see, feel and hear a difference in the Haitian people since the earthquake. It has changed the receptiveness and the attitude of the people in a drastic way.
We pray for continued peace and support for Haiti during the rebuilding process. They have a long road ahead of them, but if God be for you--who can be against you.
