We use love too loosely. "I love tacos", etc.
I'm not sure I agree with you. I think all people are created with the ability to love (or hate). Are you of the opinion that people who don't know God don't really love their children or spouse?

I just know that I had no idea the depth of real love until I received the Holy Ghost. Perhaps that is just an experience that is mine alone.
