Well, I'm thinking that Chicken Soup has excellent healing properties and doesn't need any help on that score. Remember it's also been known as "Jewish Penicillin" LOL!

I am sure that in about 40 to 50 years when I am dead or too old to care, the "Holy Magic Breast" movement will start (giggly). All the good stuff always happens right after I am gone!

See this is unbiblical. It's a gimick. I was in a revival service at a Apostolic Assembly and they had this evangelist who claimed in previous meetings people were getting gold fillings where silver had been, with pictures of eagles and bibles on them. No lie,

He told them to bring loafs of bread and they would be blessed and then if the eat them they'd receive all kinds of miracles.

The gold filling thing was a real fad several years back. No proof that it ever happened but people were all over the airwaves raving about it.

If you questioned it you were denounced as being filled with unbelief and lacking in the things of God.

Then they moved on to something else. But the "don't ask questions!" theme has always been a constant. Just shut up, keep your mouth shut and go along. That way no one will see that you didn't get the gold fillings either.

You chastise us for "rejecting testimonies" of folks who were healed thru the laying on of the hair, it's only fair that we should ask you to offer the same proof that you ask of us when we relate stories of LS and his preaching.
Ok, I can confirm the story, I heard it from the young man himself, and I know the pastor that was driving.
I can also confirm LS and his Hmh preaching, I was there with Prax.
I don't believe there is power in the hair.

Re: Read Segraves on "letting down hair"

We attended a church that had taken a bus load down to the Brownsville revival. When they returned several of them had the "chicken jerk" thing going on in church.

At first, I wasn't aware that was what was going on. I sat behind a lady that kept jerking during church and I had never noticed her doing it before. I thought she had a neurological problem and felt so sorry for her only to find out it was the "chicken jerk."

We found another church to attend.

I think he was just trying to make the point that if he wants us to believe the incident he's telling, then he needs to believe the incident that Dizzy witnessed (which he had made a big deal about not believing)
