B.H. On Pre-Adamic Civ

I have heard both BH and John Hagee make a difference between fallen angels and demons. I don't have an explanation from Hagee but BH says that fallen angels had the ability to materialize and have sex with women while demons do not have bodies or perhaps did but do not have power to materialize and seek bodies to dwell in. The difference between fallen angels and demons in BH's view are bodies.

I heard something like that but disagree. And I do not believe the sons of God in Gen 6 were angels either. Just Sethites.


But I wondered if angelic beings were on earth before Adam who were the ones who fell and became devils/fallen angels (same thing in my mind).

I think the sons of God of Genesis 6:2 were humans from the lineage of those who were calling upon the Lord in Genesis 4:26. I believe those who were called the daughters of men were from the lineage of those who were not calling on the Lord. I believe the term giants does not necessarily pertain to physical stature but to men who were outstanding in evil, mighty men of evil.

If the teaching is that there was a pre-Adamic race of humans on the earth who were destroyed and when they died their spirits were released into the atmosphere and hung around for centuries or however long it was until Adam was created and then those disembodied human spirits came back to earth, that sounds like some kind of science fiction. If those were angels on earth who were cast out of heaven and they then hung around until the earth was recreated and came here as demons, I could see that.

why would fallen angels seek to dwell in bodies of humans or animals like pigs?

The "underworld" was perceived as a place of torment and suffering by these beings. As long as they could "possess" a corporeal existence here on the surface they appear to think they could avoid the torment of Hades.

I actually heard the idea that I do not necessarily believe, but the bodies of ancient "cavemen" were those of the fallen angels who became disembodied in their fall.

That would explain their need for large beds and furniture.

This particular aspect of Gnosticism was in fact incorporated by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard into several of his works and then brought into the dogma of Scientology.
