Do you preach mercy? Do you love the unlovable? Do you pray for those who hurt, cry, and fail, or do you simply write them off as cannon fodder for HELL?

First: let me say this just because your children ( I can only assume of course) told you to take a hike doesnt mean that his will or anyone else that holds to standards will.
Second: That is the problem that I have seen with many people who were once on fire for God, they "mellowed out", right out of what is Biblical, that's why it's ok to do anything you want and still go to heaven according to these people which I have not found in the Bible.

Wow...I didn't see that post from him. WAY uncalled for and WAY out-of-bounds. I take 98% of what he says as a complete joke because that's what he is to me. But making fun of someone's appearance and feeling no remorse for it? In all seriousness, I have absolutely no idea of how he can seriously see himself as any kind of representation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He should take his act to a night club and try being a stand-up comic. I don't care how many homeless people have his number and how much he's on call 24-7, you just can't treat people like that. And from what I noticed, you didn't even really butt heads with him. He just randomly picked you out and tried to hurt you. EB has every appearance of a playground bully and you EB apologists, who like it because he "tells it like it is" should take note that he picked out a random AFF poster and made fun of the way he looks. How incredibly sad.

And for what it's worth, I think your avatar looks good and I like your look. You've got the shaved head thing going on, the stylish whiskers, and maybe even the earring. You're doing just fine!! I'm guessing that maybe EB isn't satisfied with what looks back at him in the mirror and feels the need to strike out at someone else.
