We have all heard those voices in our head. Especially during one of those GOOD services!!
I have even heard in the past of a certain preacher telling his congregation that
pants on a woman were a Babaloyn Garment.
I often have wondered even with the oneness issue. Has God spoken to everyone
about the issue, or do we just agree?

I preached or taught at least once every Sunday for 15 years. There were very few weeks off. Throughout my ministry I never once made a claim that "God had told me specifically thus and so..." about anything. Of course, I had a reputation for being a "Bible teacher" rather than a "get-with-it-evangelist." Yet folks would just get up and dance at times. More often toward the end.
Any way... I'm not trying to say that I was some how "better" than anyone else. It's just that this particular thing terrified me. I preached the Word with confidence and boldly; but I never tried to pretend that I could "read other people's mail." I had a cohort at the time who delved into that a bit too liberally at times and was constantly creating trouble for himself.
For me,
Deuteronomy 18:21-22, was practically a mantra. "...
How shall we know...?" I tried to share that with my "cohort" a few times. He developed a bitter hatred for me.
