Re: Are Trinitarians Saved?

Am I the only one who believes salvation is simple that even an uneducated illiterate idiot can be saved? What about deaf and mute people are the just outa luck?? They are not able to call on any name and they would just have to trust someone is saying the name Jesus over them!! One does not have to disect and cross reference every word of the Bible with 47 Hebrew and Greek scholars!

IMHO, salvation is just accepting a gift God offers. It is an inward surrender of the heart and will.

It is possible to make a strong stand and at the same time not doom others to hell who happen to not agree with you.

I wish that more would learn this truth!

Jesus and the apostles had some strong words for those who went against their teachings. Paul turned people over to Satan, disfellowshipped individuals, warned chruches against those who greatly withstood his words.
Peter also made a comment that there were those who wrested the scripture and Paul's writings, and therefore led themselves to their own destruction.
John warned of false prophets and that the church should try their spirits to see if they were of God. John in Rev 2:2 commends the church for trying those who said they were apostles and were not and found them to be liars.

Tit 3:10-11

"A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself."

It was two strikes and they were out?

In Jesus name

Your application of the scriptures quoted would doom just about all of the Christians to hell-- except for Apostolics, and maybe not even half of us.

You are so serious about this too!

I don't see how I could have ever thought like you.

I don't know how I ever will think like that again.

Quite honestly, I don't want to.
