I have not read all the threads. I hadn't when I was called either. I only knew of what had been said of Bro Stoneking and Bro Treece. We had a tragedy in our church this week and I have been very distracted. I have just learned somethings for the first time. I left a voice mail for some folks to call me back.

However, before you immediately believe your "friend" you might want to check out the facts.

Also, vB doesn't just "shut you down" when someone complains. If there was a REAL reason that vB felt we should be shut down, they would contact us first and tell us why.

Funny thing, last night before bed I spoke with Bro Griffin and he gave me somethings I hadn't realized as well and warned me not to get too involved. He didn't know it but my wife was in my ear saying the same thing.

Have been praying for this family. Is the mom still hospitalized? It is such a sad tragedy.

It was a terrible tragedy. This family had already adopted one and was visiting the next two they would adopt, for the first time, when the father drowned. He was only a few feet away from the shore too. Trinity River has some strong currents. He had jumped in to catch the little girl who had slipped in the river.
