I know I wouldn't want my life dissected here. Good grief, I have been a big mess at times in my life.

I think there was just a lot of humiliation for all involved in this story. It's just that sad and pitiful.

Agreed but amazed at how the woman comes off as the villain (automatically) in some peoples minds.

Well, it was the woman who started this whole problem in first place when her husband found her parading around buck nekkid with a "friend" of a mutual friend in a garden instead of a pool.
And the husband's lament was similar: "It's the woman whom Thou gavest me... !!! She gave me the fruit and I did eat. It was the woman!!!"
