But I'm not better than anyone else. God didn't fill me with his Spirit because I was better than someone else. And now that I have Christ in me, I am still not better than anyone else.
Are there any other churches in Las Vegas you would recommend that fit the criteria?

So the Holy Spirit doesn't make one "better off"? Doesn't it put you in any kind of better position than those who are NOT filled with the Holy Spirit? What's the point if the Holy Spirit doesn't help you?

The HS makes everyone better, right? Mizpeh, you should just say that you want a church that talks in tongues because the Spirit rests in many if not all churches regardless of if there is tongues present.

My wording was "Spirit-Filled" and I explained what I meant by that term. I didn't say "Spirit Present". Not every congregation that is seeking Christ is Spirit filled but every congregation that is seeking Christ has the Spirit present.

The thing that you are equating tongues with the spirit as equals or the same thing, but that is not the case.

The better position would be that the believer that is Spirit filled is part of the body of Christ. 1 Cor 12:13

Wow. This is real simple. Mizpeh (and many others) believe strongly that tongues is the initial evidence of spirit infilling based on their understanding of scripture. Thus, by default, those without the evidence do not have the infilling of the Spirit. It's not an insult, it's not arrogance. It is applying what they believe to be true. I don't necessarily agree, but mizpeh has every right to this belief without it being considered arrogant.

I also believe this gift with the accompanying sign is for every believer whether they are Methodist, Lutheran, or whatever. The only requirements are faith in Christ and repentance. God's Spirit is in every place to lead and guide believers into all truth.
