From that site, apparently they contacted Angela's attorney and got the following information:
Angela did not file the divorce. James did. Angela didn't want the divorce, and James filed for irreconcilable differences.
Regarding the ever popular bikini incident, it happened years before the divorce, had nothing to do with the divorce, James never mentioned it or any concern for Angela's faithfulness in the divorce. She and another woman were swimming. The other woman's husband came and Angela left. She was in a onepiece, not a bikini.
Sounds like the gossip got just a tad out of control.
PO, regarding the assumption on request for relief, here is a link to the original complaint. http://www.13wmaz.com/news/PDF/driver_complaint.pdf

Ahhhhh haaaaaaa (Of course I always knew/strongly suspected that there were more people involved in the bikini incident and that Fogerty and the husband wanted it to look at as bad as possible with the maximum amount of innuendo.)
Well, I guess we can still nail her to the cross for not SUB-mittttttt(ing) <spit>.

Yeah. After all, she didn't wear hose everytime she left the house. (according to the new info on www.spiritualabuse.org)
Good grief. I think the UPC had better hurry along with a resolution to vote that every member SHOULD have a television in their homes. Maybe that would hinder the Pentecostal grapevine and the entertainment derived from such gossip. Ah, except the verse says "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes". It doesn't say anything in the passage about what garbage is being filtered in through the ears. *sigh*
(NO, I am not referring to Bro Fogarty in this regard, but to everyone who assumed way too much both before and after the lawsuit... especially those who may have given him such wrongful information to begin with and those on this site who've so aptly demonstrated how quickly assumptions can get out of hand.)

We had a UPC pastor that said he'd rather see the people get rid of their telephones than their televisions.

Not Houston TX. There is a Houston County, GA, although that wasn't where the case was heard, either. It's a GA event.

Well that makes me feel a lot better because I lived in Houston for 20 years and I don't remember ever hearing of a Bro. Fogarty.
