Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Christ came in the flesh but the anointing was not in the flesh, it was in the Spirit. Many people can't make that distinction. (Not saying u can't) Jesus was the mouth piece of the Eternal Spirit that dwelled in His spirit.

When Jesus was making himself "Equal" with God it simply meant that he was Spirit led (A son of God,) Jews didn't have that capability because they knew they were dead in sin. Well some of them did...
