I want to see DKB promote quality schools to those under his leadership in our movement. He has the educational "chops" to do so. I don't want to see that tarnished.

If the degrees are legit, AND THEY ARE, how is it any of your concern where they are from? DKB owes no one an explanation. This criticism is completely unwarranted and, IMO, borders on slander.

Define "legit."
Does it not matter where one gets their education? A school's reputation for excellence and academics means nothing??? Tell that to the guy who wallowed in debt to attend Harvard, or for the preacher that suffered through the rigor of attending Gordon-Conwell.
Slander? You are a little upset, defensive and really speaking inaccuracies. What has been said that is slanderous?

I am not upset at all. Not one bit.
Why do you say that I am? Simply because I'm not joining your little lynching mob?
This thread was started because Baron has a problem with DKB's educational choices. You have agreed with that general upset.
Really, what business are his legitimate educational choices to you? Who do you think you are? Honestly?

You're not upset? You have me fooled. Lynch mob? Slander? Accusations that the poster is an elitist. If that's happy, I don't want to be around you when you're upset.
That's a good question: In what ways do a college president's educational choices, a theologian's educational choices matter to others?
Why does education matter at all?

Maxi, are you a part of the UPC?
I bet you're not.
Knowing this, why do you even care about his education? I don't really think you do. You're just wanting to gnash at him a bit.

Making assumptions are we?
I have no desire to "gnash" at DKB. You're so stuck on the DKB part of it, being defensive for him, that it seems you're missing the overarching critique here.

No one has said the degrees are not legit.
I do not see how pointing out that UNISA seems to be less of a quality school than Rice University and the University of Texas and finding the choice of that school puzzling, has anything to do with slander.
