I remember my pastor's wife giving me a tip one time to wear skin-colored undies so that they wouldn't show through white, but it was more "girl talk"--not a condemning statement! I would have been mortified if someone had taken my fashion faux pas to mean I was immodest or immoral.

No wonder she quit attending there. Too bad her husband didn't defend her against their pastor and go with her to a new church. The outcome of this situation might have been vastly different.

I want to know how they KNEW she wore improper undergarments?

Guess they saw her shopping at VS?

With that church, I'm sure that is all it would take for them to know she wore improper undergarments. It amazes me that people will stay in a church like this. Stuff like this is what gives UPCI a bad name. imo

It surprises me that there are UPC churches that are still around like this. I mean, I've experienced that almost 20 years ago!!! The only ones I know of are not UPC, but very strict like that. I call it the "Gestapo Syndrome". LOL!

How stupid and horrible for people to act, live and believe like that!!! I wasn't going to say anything else, but Hell ought to be hotter for people who suppress lives in this way! Good grief!
