Well, that is not true entirely. Christians do believe that Christ will come back and punish the unbelievers to eternal damnation, at which point He and Christians will rule the world.

Christians are waiting for Christ to do it, whereas Muslim extremists are trying to do it now.

5:51: “O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as friends, they are but friends to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as friends, then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the wrong doers.”
