The Hussite Reformation which took place in the 1200's in Bohemia was a real awakening of Christian thought and freedom. The believers in Bohemia and Moravia (today's Czech Republic) thrived and grew. It was a blessed spring time of revival and hope.

Then came the persecution. The royal house of Bohemia was all but wiped out. The rich silver mines were turned over to the Austrians. The hillsides were littered with the corpses of those who had once breathed and lived freely.

Today? Almost no one even knows what I'm talking about. Yeah, persecution was "good" for those believers and those who follow them.

Let's see you give yourself up as a slave to the Somalis or Sudanese, or even take a house cleaning job for some Saudis. You talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?

Put your message into a practical application and show me that intentional suffering works. Go and stand at the gates to the Temple Mount and burn a Koran right there on a Friday before prayers.

Or visit the Christians in Muslim countries and just try and help them out a bit. See what happens. The "church" in Lebanon has all but vanished today. "Iraq" used to be almost 100% Christian at one time. Look at what centuries of persecution have done there. "Algeria" was the home to one of the greatest schools of Christian learning - just try and find any Christians there today.

Look at what persecution has done to Nazareth and Galilee. You'll find a lot of Oneness believers there today - NOT!
