It troubles you because you have no experience in this area. But we could reserve that question for you to answer, why exactly does it trouble you DA ? This is life as a father of daughters. I am very proud of my girls and love them dearly, but that does not blind me to the reality we live in. I have learned that the hard way. Maybe you will too one day.

A married 47 year man ... and minister of the Gospel is somehow on the same level as 16 year old receiving "counsel" during her parent's divorce from her pastor.

What about the souls of this child's parents?

What about the girl's soul?

What about the congregation?


What about the wife that worked so hard, side by side with her husband in this work of time and eternity?

It should trouble you, it should trouble you to tears. It has me on many nights. To hear a 16 yr old girl make the statement, "I would have had sex with him if I thought thats what it would take to keep him". To find a 13yr old talking about "making love" to her 13yr old boyfriend. Im glad this troubles you, those of us who have been troubled by it for some time now need more like you who don't have a clue whats going on to wake up to it and help us pray.
