Re: How Does One Become Re-filled With The Holy Gh

Coadie, Why quote me if you aren't responding directly to what I've said? You've done that twice now. It's very confusing. You aren't responding to my statements, but flying off on new tangents every time I say something.

It is interesting when people claim to know what I think and all I did was post a verse. I like to let scripture speak for itself.

Have you explained how the Spirit of the Lord left King Saul?

So you don't read English. That's why you don't respond to what I write, even though you quote me as though you do.

I did explain, and I didn't presume to know what you think. Since your posts are so ambiguous or off topic (I can't figure out which, it would help if you did something besides just post verses, but explain why you post them) there is no way to know what you think. I only stated that it appeared that you were following a certain thought process, by what I could make of your disjointed posts.

I will not respond to you further.

coadie, Jesus said he wouldn't leave us comfortless (which is not exactly the same as what Saul had in the way of anointing). The word comfortless was derived from the Greek word orphaned or fatherless that has nothing to do with Saul since Saul was in the OT. Jesus becomes our parent with a gift that he doesn't take away.

No he doesn't take it away. He will allow me to push Him away. He also doesn't allow another person to take me out of His hand.

2 Peter 2:20-21 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of
the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state
has become worse for them than the first. For it would be better
for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having
known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to
them.

So, where exactly does it say you lose the HG? I can see where one might be miserable if he/she were a backslider from this passage but nothing more than that coadie.
