You "MIGHT" could argue that it is both a joke AND a lie. But you can't argue that if its not a joke that it was a lie because Hoovie was clearly not trying to decieve us into thinking they could do that when they really can't.

Not necessarily. "Intent" isn't always considered in law. Sometimes, it's the result that counts. If one burns down a building and in the process someone dies, the arsonist will be charged with Felony Murder even though he never intended to kill. Same with drunk driving.

So since Hoovie's "Joke" had such damaging emotional impact on many AFF members, should he be infracted?

I think we should assemble a jury of his peers.
