Im just presenting what might be a man's position, a straight man might not want to shower with a gay man knowing he was gay. If we allowed that why not ask the ladies how they feel if heterosexual men showed with them?
My point is and actually this is what I have hear the military brass say, it should be up to the men. How do they feel about gays in the military? How do they feel about showering with them?

I'm ex army and wouldn't want a gay guy in my unit.

As far as firing a gun or something, yes they could fire one, but probably not very straight.

Oh nice one lol. Seriously. Considering DADT allows gahs to be in the military without our knowledge, we can pretty much assume there have always been gahs in the military...even during wars we actually won.
