I just think that it is laughable for the GOP to be the party of "family values" and "morality" and have so many examples of people falling way short of that-- while casting the Democrats as murderous and perverted mongrels.
The GOP isn't the party of family values or morality. A segment of the GOP, the religious right, were.

But even if the party takes a stand on those kinds of issues, why would you think its laughable that a small handful are failures?

Nor does the GOP cast the democrats as murderous or perverted mongrels. A small segment might do that.

This is the problem with Americans in general, thinking emotionally and not factually. Subjective not objective.....too much TV if you ask me

Re: Voting R Is Vote 4 War

Hmmm...wasn't it the Democrats under LBJ that ramped up the Viet Nam war??? Wasn't Harry Truman President when we went into the Korean War?

And the Dems control both house at the time for most of each......

Wasn't it under Kennedy that we invaded Cuba? Didn't Clinton bomb the Christians in Serbia into oblivion?

Whatever guy.

So Palin didn't use these words and phrases on her flurries around the country as candidate for VP-- or even now?

It's a brand that many GOP'ers like to pull out and use in sad attempts to court people blinded by their the desire to see their sense of justice and right come to life in America-- similar to how the Democrats keep Blacks in their back hip pocket.

I don't care what Palin did. The GOP is a diverse group like any other despite your sweeping generalizations

You know we had a republican Gov here in the State of California that was pro Abortion?

Unfortunantly the Democrats seems to have become the party that champions those values opposed to the family such as abortion, gay rights, heavy taxation, gun control, redistribution of wealth........to name a few.

A small handful of failures?

There have been a handful of UPCI preacher moral failings. Most UPCI Preachers and Pastors are outstanding men and women of God of high moral character and are respected as so.

They don't campaign as such, they live as such.

Check the link out. It's dated, but you'll see your handful of corrupt GOP'ers.

Bottom line?

With the GOP however, the argument is made that they are no better, or maybe even worse when it comes to issues of family values and morality!

The tax line is outdated.

The rate at which most Americans were taxed dropped twice, once per year, since Obama was elected.

Redistribution of wealth?

You're just repeating phrases you've heard people you respect on tv say.

Re: Voting R Is Vote 4 War

I love the concept of conservatism-- now if we can just find some conservative GOP politicians....

We park in a driveway.
We drive down a parkway.
Liberal Democrats want to conserve our natural resources.
Conservative Republicans want little to no legislation limiting the actions of businesses and their affects on the environment.

Oh the lunacy of it all!
