What's Wrong With Facial Hair

Richard Perry said "When a male grows hair on the face, it has similar properties as a rock star growing hair for his image, to create a view other than the one he was given."

I may be having some kind of mental block - but does this statement make one ounce of sense to anybody?

When a male grows hair on the face - it is to create a view other than the one he was given. Is that basically how you should read this?

I must be missing something!

Now - Here is how I see it - and YES I do have a goatee and eyebrows - FACIAL HAIR!
When a male shaves the natural hair that God gave him off his face - it creates a view other than his natural, normal one that God gave him.
Did God create Adam and then give him a RAZOR and tell him to shave?

Honestly - I do understand the clean cut standard and control hungry, inferior men regulating facial hair and women shaving their legs and preaching against clear nail polish - I do understand that - it is totally a control thing. I have been there and done that - but it is NOT SCRIPTURAL to require it no matter what you say! It is NOT in the scriptures!

JESUS HAD FACIAL HAIR!

But to try and force people to do it and try to use scripture or logic to control people - just won't work with educated people.

Now, I'm sure that you and I are worlds apart on alot of things... but don't you find it ridiculous when they go so far out there to justify their stupid pet doctrines. And then when "they" attack liberal apostolics they go to other X-tremes!!

Educated people are a threat to some pastors.... I actually heard them preach against education and one pastor said he wanted his saints dumb... that's one reason my husband never fit in with some of the preachers we were with....he has an incredible mind and he didn't check his brains in at the door!
