Well i don't know. if hagee can do his thing and attract a lot of viewers maybe this is a good thing

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

So do you think that suggesting that 2 billion people will die this year and that 2008 is the beginning of the final seven years .... and it not coming to pass will be beneficial to the movement and advantageous to those who support TV ministry?

One thing I will say about IB is that he is very focused on winning the lost. I heard him speak once in Indianapolis and everything he said seemed geared towards the last part of his presentation when he made the invitation for the sinners to come join God's family.

Was it an Acts 2:38 type of invitation? Or Baptist in tone?
Does presenting the truth matter prior to this type of invitation?

Yes, Dan. It was an apostolic invitation. What would it matter to you anyhow? Aren't you the champion of the one-step cause around here?

Simply interested .... since some of the anti-tv types worry that THE MESSAGE would be watered down by Apostolic TV evangelists.

His approach is more along the lines of fitting current events into Bible prophecy. I don't know if that has changed, but it may have, based on what people are suggesting on this thread.

That is what he does. I got burned out on prophecy in the 80's. It seemed every special speaker was speculating every new device as the Mark of the Beast and "OH MY GOSH, A RED HEIFER IS BORN!"
