aren't you glad you don't live here.......

We have about 10" of snow so far - the heavy, packable stuff. And they're saying now that the worst is yet to come. So we'll see. There's a winter storm warning until 10 pm tonight.

Wow. That looks like something you see in a painting or greeting card. It doesn't even look real. I would love to see that in Dec or Jan, but this late in Feb, I am looking forward to spring and warm weather!!

YES! I am thrilled I do not live there!! If my husband even suggested a move I would say, "Hey, go ahead. If I'm not there in, like, 10 years, start without me."

Thanks, Esther. It's not hard to take good pictures when God has provided such beautiful subjects to photograph. Now if only he cold do it in a warmer way............................

PO, I completely understand. In fact, I'm thinking maybe your husband could come here and stay with Walt and I could move down near you for, say, the next 10 years. Can you tell I'm tired of the snow?

The boys are out shoveling right now. Well, shoveling, and throwing. They're having altogether too much fun out in this stuff!!

It's deep enough and clean enough - I should have them bring in some of the top layer stuff and make some snow ice cream for lunch. Mmmmmm

Here's the extinct of my winter. This is on a back road - geese in a maze field. I always cut through this way coming home. Have to watch for deer and wild hogs, though. lol

I took the picture before I dropped my 10 pixel digital camera that I bought myself for Christmas!!!! My shutter won't close now and the pictures are coming out blurry. I don't know what I can do about it! lol

Your pictures are very lovely - too look at! lol

Re: aren't you glad you don't live here.......

We got about two inches last night..but the flakes were the largest I have seen in my life.. it was the most beautiful snow fall...

I kept saying, if it didn't stop, we were going to be under a foot in just a couple hours...thankfully it stopped here.

That is just beautiful Margie3.... I love snow.

Re: aren't you glad you don't live here.......

Oh, now see, I love it! I woke up this morning and we had the biggest, most beautiful snowflakes falling down. We still have a couple of feet of snow from before christmas and it's snowed several times since! It was so beautiful I had to takes more pictures and videos of it!! My living room was my favorite room in this house when we moved in last year, just because of that big window! I love to watch it snow!

Ten inches.........pffft.......

That's nothing.

We got nine inches last Sunday followed by another six on Monday!! LOL!

I took pics but for some reason they didn't save on my camera, but some people have snow up to the window sills!

But today, it's melting a little. I'm just wishing for the day I can get in my driveway without scraping the bottom of my van!

Margie, you just enjoy that stuff. I'm sick of it here!

We were originally expecting 6-12 from that storm, but we just had a few flurries last night.....not enough to even hardly see (I happened to be driving home and saw it in my headlights.....LOL).
