God's grace is a gift to us. God's grace is freely given. Grace and truth comes from Jesus Christ.
I heard it discribed once as God's empowering presence in ones life helping them to become what they were meant to become.
I have been accused of not having a definition for GRACE. I ignorantly posted a thread about God's saving grace and did not pay attention, till after it was posted, to the fact that I put it in a debate room. You all know how those argumentative Apostolic/Pentecostals are. If they do not have someone to crucify they are not happy. Well I refused to give my definition of grace because I did not feel it was important. I could have said well you know I accidently posted this here and asked for it to be moved by Admin but I didn't it. Now I have been accused of not having a definition of grace.
You know what I said it in that thread and I will say it again if you really need a definition you need to get into the book for yourself and find yours because mine is not important. Besides anything I say there will be torn up by someone. Someone will disagree with my definition of grace so why bother. We are supposed to be Christ like. Did he go around arguing at the drop of a hat? No.
Lets just say that WITHOUT GOD'S GRACE YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE SAVED.
All your good deeds, all your alms, all your tithes paying, all your speaking in tongues, all your shouting, all your whatever it is you do, is not going to do you a bit of good without God's grace.
Besides where sin abounded grace did much more abound.
The Bible also says that to who much is given much will be required.
So to those of you who received untold measures of faith, and I will bet that is most all of us, much is going to be required of us.
God = love
God = grace
therefore
grace = love
God = truth
God = grace
therefore
grace = truth
Let me therefore venture to say that
grace = God
I also say that with these scriptures my definition was not needed. The word of God does not need my help. It can stand alone and all things will succomb to it.
Acts 15:11
But we believe that through the grace of the LORD Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
Romans 3:24
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Romans 5:21
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 11:6
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
