Thank you DT4, for correctly representing us.
Elder Epley, was told that we are not anti-Semites, and he apologized, and we moved forward in our discussion.
With all due respect Elder Epley, but you failed to answer any of my posts concerning this subject, but yet you felt to start this thread against Brothers Blume, Burk and myself, with a great misrepresentation.
Please forgive me this observation, but you must not be reading any of my posts. Elder Epley I want you to produce the post where I said there was no longer Jews.
I clearly stated that those who call themselves Jews today cannot trace their lineage back to Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob or King David.
The Bible required that those who would participate in any ritual, the Jews had to produce who they were and who they were related to. For a wedding to occur those who were about to wed had to produce their lineage. In the book of Nehemiah, the Jews who had returned after 70 years had past (not enough time for them to corrupt their seed totally) needed to put away all their Gentile wives and THEIR CHILDREN. The Bible mandate required them to keep their seed intact, so they would one day bring forth Messiah. The Rabbis, Rabbi Akiba, to Rabbi Rashi tried to keep their genealogy intact, but it was lost as the Talmudic era came to a close. No Jew living today can trace their lineage back to Talmudic times or to the Bible Patriarchs.
Therefore how can it fit a Biblical scenario for Jesus to return for a certain race of humans? Elder Epley, the Gospel isn't about race its about grace.
The Jews were extremely racist in the NT, and Jesus tares down those walls of racism. Look how Jesus asks for a drink of water from a Samaritan woman?
She was a woman who had been not only married five times, but she was a half breed, mingled blood with Gentiles, and the Jews thought they had devils in them. Jews would not share cups, jugs, or plates with the Samaritans.
Imagine the Jew who was beaten by robbers who laid dying as the religious of his time walked around him. Until the Samaritan found him, and cleaned his wounds, the beaten Jew looking up at someone who he thought was lower than a dog, was now cleaning his wounds, when a Priest and Levite would not stop because of their Law concerning touching the dead.
Jesus came and removed the question of race, and by His grace made us all one in His body knocking down the middle wall of partition, making the two, ONE.
Can you refute what I have written above?
With love and respect
In JESUS NAME
Brother Benincasa
