Another Phillips' Household Disagreement Poll
I LOVE doing these!!!! LOL!!!!
SOOOOOOooooooOOOOOoooo
Hannah, age [almost] 14, is taking riding lessons. She loves horses, and will get one of her own in the not so distant future. Her instructor has been teaching her the barrel racing routine (whatever its called--I'm no cowgirl), and turns out she has a knack for it--and she suggested that Hannah participate in some competitive races. I'm okay with it, but Jeff is not!
MY question is: Should we allow her to compete in barrel racing?
Jeff says it's too dangerous. I had to use heavy persuasion just to get him to let her take riding lessons!!!! I say it's no more dangerous than galloping a horse around the pasture. If she can do one, she can do the other.
What do you think? Should she be allowed to barrel race? I want both male and female opinions--and I wouldn't mind the opinions of a few cowboys! Would you let your daughter barrel race?
