Death in the church today!
We got home somewhere around 4 Am and found out early this morning that one of our most faithful sisters had a fatal heart attack...she was 53 years old...so we had to change quite a few plans Brother Alvear and a group have went over there (one of the daughter works) about 2 hours drive...my she was in service yesterday during the day and when she did not show up at the night service the pastor and his wife found her foaming at the mouth...
Well one precious soul has crossed on over...thank God for our homeland supporters that made it possible one day to build a church in the city where she lived...In Brazil a person has to be buried in 24 hours after death...I could not go to the funeral we have people to feed tonight and tomorrow but promised would be in their service Sunday night.
Thanks once again for helping us stay on the mission field.

Sorry to hear this. What would cause foaming at the mouth?

I have seen this in patients with congestive heart failure as an EMT. It is a very serious condition and patients will have difficulty breathing from the fluid.

Re: Death in the church today!
lots of extreme emotions...death...funeral... a party tonight...Almost 2 am the people are just now leaving...we cooked for around 40 and tomorrow will do soup in our village. The death kinda changed our plans...anyway we had a good time and fellowship with those that really had no where to go...I got a few pictures and will post maybe tomorrow...(if I have time)
So glad we are blessed with the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus.

Re: Death in the church today!
Sister Avear, please take care of yourself!
Do you get regular medical checkups when you are in the states? Not being nosy, just concerned for you and I know you keep a hectic schedule quite often.
