I Don't Think God "Creates" Anything Any More
He created and then He provided the seed. He created the reproductive processes that continue life. We are looking at His Creation. We are a part of His Creation. However, He didn't CREATE us.
He CREATED Adam and Eve.
He gave them the knowledge and power to create.
He did not create you and me.

Most people are born after the will of men (and women).

Re: I Don't Think God "Creates" Anything Any More
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Literal version:
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God;
Joh 1:2 this one was in the beginning with God;
Joh 1:3 all things through him did happen, and without him happened not even one thing that hath happened.
Green's Literal Version:
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.
God said this:
Isa_44:2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
Jeremiah was told this:
Jer_1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Job said:
Job_10:8 Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
David said this:
Psa_119:73 Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

Amen.
You beat me to it.
Some here are so close to universalism it is pitiful.

Re: I Don't Think God "Creates" Anything Any More
God is not creating any new physical stuff, though He is providentially using innumerable physical processes, some rich in intricate biochemical details, to recycle and retask pre-existing matter-energy according to His will.7, 8, 9
However, Psalm 102:18 informs us—surprisingly, to some—that there is still something being created.
This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD......

Re: I Don't Think God "Creates" Anything Any More
If God is creating people today...
Then God is creating people who are destined to hell.
People that HE KNEW that when HE CREATED THEM WITH THEIR FLAWS AND THEIR PENCHANT FOR SIN-- He KNOWS that they have no chance of being saved because HE created them, lost.
He creates the crack addicted babies.
He creates the defective babies that will bring stress, heartache and will eventually die.
He creates Hitler and Hussein and they do His Will-- either its true or God didn't know.
Entire civilizations created and ultimately destroyed by a God that never heard the "Gospel"-- or maybe you know about the time the Incas were presented with Jesus Name baptism and they chose to reject it, choosing instead to continue to sacrifice their children-- little souls, created by Him that He knew would never see adulthood. He knew they would never have a chance.
GOD did it-- or He was complicit. He knew...
The child that was raped, the response of that child to the rape, the issues that would ensue, the seemingly unavoidable doom...
GOD did it-- or He was complicit. He knew...
IF HE IS CREATING LIFE TODAY, THEN THE MEANS BY WHICH THEY COME INTO THE WORLD ARE HIS CREATION TOO!
Of course, this is lunacy to attempt to hold GOD accountable for things He didn't do-- things He couldn't have done because HE gave the charge to pro-create to Adam and Eve.
He created them.
We were born after the will of men.

JD, you are thrashing God right now.
You are inadvertently blaming Him for his fallen creation.
God is creating new cells in your body right now.
Think about it for a second. The cells are not procreating, but coming from nowhere.

Not trying to thrash God. I do need to be careful though.
As for the bolded, what is your point. Please finish your thought.

Okay, my point is, the cells have no mom or dad, but they reproduce on their own.
This is God at work, creating/reproducing healing matter out of other matter.
