Not "his opinion," it's the apostle Paul's "opinion."
Timothy is listed as one in leadership [apostle] & Paul instructed this church leader "not allow a woman to teach, or to excercise authority over a man...". So, when leadership allows this, THEY are the one's who are in violation of the Word of God...as well as the one practcing it.
BTW, a "prophetess" is not a "preacher" in the sense of the 5-fold NT se-in office of the ministry. Besides, where's the approved example of the "prophetess" in the NT church economy:___________? O' & before you even try, spare me Young's definition of a "prophetess," since he already believed in women preacher's...not to mention how his concordance is well out-dated.
