No, but the Amish still use Gas Refrigerators a lot of places.

Heartland is a Canadian company. They make top quality classic reproduction appliances. I am quite familiar with their wood burning cook stoves.

Actually when our kids were little I had a brick stove out back of our home...used it for cooking our beans and things that took a long time to cook...saved a lot of money...at one time I had 11 kids to cook for, my inlaws lived with us besides all the company...loved it!

Good quality brick ovens are very fashionable and expensive. I have assisted in construction an also service some wood fired ovens regularly.

A lessor alternative is a simple Cobb oven. I have done this. Very interesting construction with minimal materials cost.
